Good place to shop?

Hi,
I was wondering what would be a good place to buy: (cheap)

1. Shirts & T-shirts (fake brand names)

2. Fake watches that works

3. Decoration/Souvenir types

I have been to patpong night market (too many tourists) and also MBK (seemed to be a better place)

Any other recommendation and how to get there via skytrain will be helpful. Thank you.

As I pick up shop girls. Markets are relevant subject matter. I have never been to pratanam. The stuff that josh wants is nothing special.. you can find that CRAP on any night market ally. Kaosan sukhumvit, patpong.. same freken same.

Just got back on Monday, I bought a Rolex from MBK, it is a very good copy with proper second hand movement, (I know because I wear a real one to compare it to). 2000bht from one of the stalls near the escalator, a ladyboy was serving (no boobs or make up, dressed as normal daytime guy) spoke very good English and good to deal with. I sold the watch on Thursday for £100, will get another when I go back.

Fake T shirts 199-299 bht on top floor of MBK, also souvineer stuff same floor but I didnt have a close look.

The Emporium is shit.

I don't scrimp on shopping, but there was nothing to tempt me there. It is more of a womens place.

MBK is like a big Bull Ring market, lots of tat at cheap prices.

But if that is what you fancy, then fair enough. I just couldn't be bothered trawling around MBK trying to pick out what I want from all the junk.

what shopping are you talking about in bkk?even for chicks,you pay premium prices.if you want handicrafts/clothes etc. made in thailand,are on the upperend scale than other parts of thailand.probably good deals you may find are on leather items.locally as well as imported.
but never forget,plenty of fakes/immitation products availiable .be careful what you buy.
some indian tailors are good at making suits in a day or 24hrs notice.
the other industry is the gems/valuable stones etc.what ever you are being quoted,you have to negotiate.
I have heard of ppl purchasing rubies,jade etc from reputable establishments only to come back and given a different story by the gemologists,saying purchases were of inferior quality.
if you do not know a thing about precious metals/gemstones etc. keep away from such places.

so many with such negative opinions about bkk i wonder why you even go there.

I go for the girls, simple as.

If I want to go shopping, then I'll go on a day trip to London not fly 6000 miles around the world.
