IMHO, I've read lots here about Sofia being awesome, but had little luck. Was there in July last year (my grandfather lives there), hadn't read WSG posts and spent two nights at Radisson Sofia and blanked (probably the only idiot in the world to not score in Sofia). There was a strip club right next to the hotel. Had a girl out front (of the hotel) by the bellman handing out flyers. Went in (paid about a $20 cover--please excuse me here, but my figures may be off, I have very few brain cells left) and got a swarm of girls asking for drinks at my table. I just wanted to check it out, the scene, and cozy up if I found something I liked. But was pretty much swarmed with revolving girls (in pairs) asking for drinks and offering back room time for like USD $170. I tried to discuss exactly what I'd get for my $170, but all I got was assurances that I'd have a good time (we have a bar in Honolulu called Femme Nu, where for $200 you can go in a back room and get a lap dance--not no service--and usually with some guy/supv lording over the situation--to ensure nothing really happens, so I was not too crazy about having the same situation here). I decided to bail out of there, even though I had hoped that it would be easier, and as I wasn't too keen on what I saw, didn't bother to ask for company back at the room. Conversely, I also spent about five days at Sunny Beach, which is south of Varna, but also on the coast. This was a completely different scene entirely. I was still uninformed, yet just by wandering was in places where ST and LT was easy to find (I'm sorry, I don't remember the hotel I stayed in, but it is right on the beach, has green glass wind screens on the terraces, is supposedly one of the best there, and had a strip club directly across the boardwalk. I found two girls (7-8) there (one a night) to come back to room for LT and for about $150. I'm sure I overpaid, and will catch hell for this. That included a kind of bar fee. I wandered the town, found other similar places, with the same sort of strip bar scene, and lots of girls offering services. Frankly, I've been all over the world, numerous times, and this was the easiest place I have even been to for mongering (although I hear AC and Thailand are the best, I have yet to visit--will do so in May). BTW: the bus ride across Bulgaria was not something I 'd do again. Flights exist, but not when I was looking for them.
In reading SirMarjAlot's brilliant threads, I realize I must've paid leves. I never got into detail about the quality of the sex, but his comments were similar to how it went for me. All the girls had shaved pussies, and I'm with you, SirMarjAlot, I like it au natural too.
I was very nice and generous, but noted the attitude after money was given, could have been a little better (maybe that is why some guys are nasty, but I still prefer to be nice, just me).
hey man, ive been in varna 5 times in the last years, if u need some good adresses, just write back. i know this beautyful city, no crime , cheap -u pay no more than 4 bucks for food n beer and the girls are between 20USD and 35 USD /45 min. (dont pay touristprizes!!!!

How far is Varna from Sunny Beach? - I'll be there next month and am tempted to take a road trip one evening if the distance isn't too far.
Also, what are the roads like in that area?
