Wheelchair access on the streets?

I have been to Nogi many times, but I never noticed if the curbs have any wheelchair ramps on them. A friend of mine wants to go down there, and he is in one of those big power chairs. Does anyone know offhand if he'll be able to get around on the streets?

Also, as I have not been there in a while, is the club scene dead or still alive? I know there were some issues with the cops trying to stop all the fun in the clubs a while back. I haven't been there in quite some time for that purpose. I used to love Cheri's! I don't even know if it's still there, or if it's still a cool place with the private rooms! Anyone?

I lived in Tucson till Oct and I used to go to Nogi often for the dental work and personal plumbing work. The curbs are very high and although they make an attempt to have ramps it would be a problem, trust me. It is hard enough to walk on those streets. I dont think the chair would have enough power to get up to the walks which are all broken up anyhow. The Conga is still the best bang for the buck. Not "Tens" but pleasant gals and $65 generally get you everything for 30-40 minutes in a room.

Thanks DD - I kind of thought that was the situation. He has a sort of portable ramp that he can take with him, but I couldn't remember if that would work or not. I also thought the sidewalks might be too crowded, as well. Damn. He really wanted to go down for St. Patty's Day and so did I!!
