My first LOS report

First, I'd like to thank all fellow travelers that have offered reports and advice on the board. You helped me experience a few great trips to LOS.
I have not posted before just read and absorbed. I took two trips to LOS
last year. April returning in May and November returning mid-December.
I was in the area on business but able to spend my leave weeks in LOS.

I will combine the trips for time's sake. Okay, my report:

My trips were either mid priced or upper priced. I was spoiling myself most of the time but when funds became short I moved hotels and mongering standards.

BKK-- Started at the Park President on Suk Soi 24 across from the Davis. I stayed in the serviced apartments across the street from the lobby. Nice studio, great service and super privacy. hotel is far from the ent district except those on Soi 22 and 33. Soi 33 sucks and seems to be focussed on Japanese expats. Soi 22 is quick and easy- beer bars with some pretty girls.
Soi Cowboy was the best mongering for me. I picked up a couple sweeties at Spicy g's. took back to the apt and the doormen are very GF I don't have to go through the lobby. Two girls and lots of fun. The Park has a great pool so the next day the girls bought swim suits and stayed with me by the pool until 4PM when they had to head back to their condo and then be back at spicy by 6PM. One of them spoke great english ( 23 but looked 20) the other one understood sign language and my book came in handy. went back to the same bar that night at about 7PM but girls not there. We get back to hotel and no problem with the 4 of us heading straight up.

Soi 22 bar beers are near Ricks dive restaurant and Queens Park hotel.
Ricks food is gringo the steaks are good. Strawberry milkshakes ease the gut ache of the beer and papaya salad. Great girls half way down the right side of the alley. There's a couple enclosed bars in the back where i picked up a beauty. She had a diamond in her front toothe, young and a little wild. I kept my guard up with her but she was just that...rebel wild...ends up she's 20 yo and we can't get into the disco I wanted to go to. She is a 9 even with her hoodlum dental work she had a small tattoo on her shoulder too. Wild romp that brought me back to her 2 days later.

Nana Plaza, This place is crowded and is hopping by 7PM. Lots to choose from. I like 3 bars the best- names blur but here's where they are located: second floor back corners. the left corner bar makes you walk up one more flight to a two story bar with fire show and polynesian dancing. 40 girls and about 15 8-9's. I found a cheap thai restaurant on the corner of 15 and Suk hole in the wall with delicious noodles. Great thai massage every day on Soi 19 next to the Honey Hotel 300 bt per hour but the best i had, these girls are strong.
Cafeteria at the Honey hotel is cheap for a decent meal and walking distance to SC. I make it to happy hour from now on and my beers tend to be 65 bt.
SC is slower than Nana but seek and you shall find...every nite.

LOS was on my mind the months following as it is now. I love the girls. they
put on a good act or really enjoy sex, well most.

Second trip, November 2005 return Dec 9.

BKK-- back to Soi Cowboy. spicy g's was fair, de ja vu sucked, baccarat

Okay, that's a long synopsis. I think you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to LOS. The conclusion; I spent too much but had a great time. I had fewer regrets than going to Las Vegas and losing my ass and not getting any.
I learned alot from WSG and from the experience.
I can tell you LOS is better than Costa Rica, TJ.
I want to check PI and AC in particular soon.

I can add to my trip with Koh Lan, Ching Mai and a bungee jump that lead to some great fun back in Pattaya. Thanks again for continued advice.

Well, it was real...real fun! There's more to report but I was getting long winded.
A couple places not disscussed here is Club Narcisus, free lance at Hollywood disco
both in BKK.
Seems to be a more critical board than informative about travel.
Area seems to be focussed on cheap p4p instead of overall vacation with p4p.
May I suggest that there is more informative content on this board instead of price pointed dogs fogged by good old days. help us all keep prices down and fun to a maximum.
Some of you are still back in the day.. remember when..may I ask-? get over it, I doubt it comes back without another another Asian down recession?!
LOS is a good value. Check some other venues-- CR is not cheap- fly time is a benefit yet prices are near TJ. TJ is old time.
shit I got a private villa with pool for us$60.00 a nite in Jomtien. I pay similar for
motels 6 in the states. Australia was sooo much more but better beaches.

You make a fair point about those that live in the past but overall your criticism is not valid,there is plenty of information of the kind you require in previous threads.Please bear in mind that about 12 members contribute 90% of the posts here and it is unreasonable to expect us to post trip reports and new info every 5 minutes.What would help is if more newbies followed your lead and made a contribution,dont need full blown accounts just tips on new bars or budget hotels etc.

are from a few. I am looking for better advice because I intend to return to
Asia soon. Will it be LOS for a 3rd time or head to PI????
I take it that the most experienced few may be the most vocal.
The big question is... where is the best destination with the most beauties and enjoyment?? What's your opinion.

Wish I could answer your question but sadly have not been to PI so am personally ignorant of the pros and cons.I am yet to tire of Thailand because I travel around and like to mix my mongering with lazy days on the beach and an odd bit of culture,when I run out of Islands then maybe I will broaden my horizons.Lot of people rave about Angeles city but apart from the mongering there is nothing to do so wouldnt suit me for more than a day or two,probably if I went would combine it with a couple of other places.

Some of us are not into boozing, conspicious consumption tourism and throwing money at hookers. I personally prefer massage girls with "full service", real dates with 'real' girls, serviced apartments and guest houses and outdoors activities.

On my many trips to LOS I always seem to luck out finding free pussy too. A good resoource now seem to be the many dating websites for Thai females. I even found one that is 100% free to join and use (all the others I found only offer 'free registration'). On Stickman's advice I registered with http://thailandfriends.com . Free unlimited posting of photos, free e-mail both ways. Beware of the ones that charge $$$ and have ads in them that are years old! Some of the ads seem to be entered by hookers.

I'm getting girls' E-mails, IM chats and even overseas phone calls every day. Made several advance dates for my upcoming trip to Phuket.

Do not go to the PI, all the girls have bad attitudes and hooves. They are so ugly and stinky even the flies will not land on them...

The Philippines is somewhere you might want to see before you die. A little more on the dangerous side in Manila but the girls are different. They are more of the g/f types and less into playing money games with you.

Chiang Mai, December, 2005. Stayed at the newest hotel in CM which is walking distance to night market and shopping. This is a quiet town compared to BKK and Pattaya. I found a great beer garden where I spent most of my mongering. I also went down to the river area and walked the bar beers for some daytime action. Indoor bars-- a few. I only experienced one fish bowl MP.
I hooked up with a tuk-tuk driver and we became fast friends. His name is Khag. Good english, can carry a conversation. He wanted to be my tour guide and driver so he gives me his mobile #. He got me around town for the 4 days I stayed.
1st was a trip to the fishbowl MP that afternoon. Khag got his taut fee on this one and I got a sopie and anal with a big busted hottie. Cost 4500 with tip and drinks.
That night we head to dinner and I discuss my GF needs. I end up at a great beer garden backside of the night market. Khag goes home. This place is open aired and has bar beers and food kiosks all around. This is like a foodcourt with Thai beauties you take home in your doggie bag. Prices at beer bars were cheaper than BKK. less girl selection than either Pattaya or BKK. Best time I had in LOS due to friendly nature of a more laid back town. I lucked out with the local seen and loved every minute. It gave me a breather from the BKK hustle. Khag was happy with just a couple hundered THB plus fringe bene's. I gave him 500 at the end.
