GF hotels in Pattaya
Can some one tell me a nice GF hotel in Pattaya, in the middle of all the action with a nice pool?

Try J W Marriott on second road next to Royal Garden Plaza,very girl friendly.If you require a cheaper option there is Sabai Lodge on soi 1 off beach road.Stayed at both places and can highly recomend both hotels.Originally Posted by Sir_bone_alot

You did not say what price range. Sunshine Hotel in the middle of Soi 8 and about twenty beer bars right outside your door. Pool is good about 15 meters long. Rooms always clean. Some rooms have the old aircon taking ten minutes to cool off the room, while other rooms are renovated with new everything. Rates are between 700 and 900 baht depending on the season have stayed many times and always happy.
I stayed at The Sunshine in Septemeber. It was decent, but no perfect. The pool is great, but the staff is unfriendly and rushed. Still great value. Try looking at asiarooms.com or asiatravel.com The Flipper was stones through away and looked nicer.
I'd like feedback on this. In Pattaya is it common for the tap water to be nasty at every hotel? The sink filled up with yellow water, the toilet always looked like there was piss in it. Also, what's the deal with toilet paper. Can you not put in a Thai toilet? Those things clog sooooo easy.
Soi 8 is a happening area. Forget going to sleep early. Here's some advice though. If you plan on getting a girl for long time and only want one night with her, don't get her from the same soi you stay on. If she likes you,'ll have to tippy toe around so she doesn't see you. Soi 7 is very good. I had fun at the UK Bar. Got a very sweet girl there. I let her stay 3 nights with me. I lied to her and said I was going home, when I really had 3 more nights, but if she was on Soi 8, I'd be screwed.
The best invention ever in these Thai toilets is the little high powered hand sprays. Who needs toilet paper when you got one of these. Toilet paper must be the worst thing ever invented. Rubbing shit into your arse.
And why should anybody tip-toe around for Prostitutes? I hear this all the time and it defies any logic.
They are only ACTING. They don't like you at all. If they did they would stay with you for free. Jeez.

So true, your girls should see you screwing around so they understand you're not a girly man and they better do a good job if you will ever take them again.
For those who have not been I can see where everyone else looks like a cynical bastard who puts it down but this place is only good if you have no idea about reality and can accept the fantasy most guys seem to be wandering around in.
If you want to know if a girl likes you take her outside after you pay her barfine and give her 500 baht and tell her she can go back to the bar if she wants to or stay if she likes you. Now our logic dictates you paid her barfine she is yours for the night and the 500 tells you that she already has several lady drinks worth under her belt now, her logic says she doesn't have to spend another minute with you and might even get another barfine.

How "girlfriendly" exactly is the Marriott ? Do you mean you can simply take a chick back without any problems ? Or can you actually arrive back at 2 am with a crowd of 8-10 georgeous Thai chicks and bring them up to your room ? Coz I am actually interested in the latter.
Has someone tried the Penthouse Hotel ? Besides being girlfriendly, how good is it, is it like a 4 stars or what ? How is the service ?
Never stayed at the Penthouse, but I stayed at the Marriott. I never brought more than one girl back there, but I never had any problem, regardless of the hour. Nobody at the front desk said a word when I brought a Thai lady back to my room.
When I stayed at the LK Pavillion, the front desk immediately took the ID of any lady I brought back there. When I brought two back there, they took both ID's and charged me an extra occupancy fee!
Stayed there in a US$23 room I think.
First of all you have a 7/11 store in your room, if you go long time and trust your girls fine, they might only take a few things. I had mine removed they wanted to charge me 500baht removal fee because in their own words "It's a lot of things to remove". They send 2 maids in to clean all the shit out takes about 5 minutes.
Next they have VAT and service charge so any price say hello to +10% and +7%.
The deposit box is free but the padlock will cost you 80 baht, there's also VAT and service charge on the padlock
If you get picked up from the airport everything is great until you check out when you get slugged with parking fee for airport along which again includes VAT + service charge. Oh and you better have Baht on you as the driver will have you pay the tolls even though the letter says they will pick up the tolls and work it out later.
The security was ok, normal take girl ID procedure and unless you come down with her or they call to confirm she doesn't leave. Front desk friendly enough.
It seemed like the whole place was out to nickel and dime me to death so I couldn't wait to leave. Bed was comfortable but when I took a shower the water would go all over the toilet as the bathroom had no shower curtain.
Forget the whole "kitten tv channel", the girls know where the cameras are and they are also aiming too high at the ceiling can't see shit. Oh and when you go in there the girls are all ugly and the place overpriced so don't let that influence you any.

In Pty I stayed at the Twin Palms a few times. It was girl friendly. The building I was in had it's own entrance away from the main office which I liked and bringing a girl in was no problem.
The "Windy Inn" located at the very bottom of walking street. No too expensive, Great pool and the staff are cool. Totaly girl friendly.... But let then stop a girl if they want... The know better than you. Trust me. They are not stopping your fun... they just know a "bad one ". Also some good motorbike guys outside. one day one of them "Assisted "me at his own cost... Never knowing if he would see me again. I gave him a good drink for his help... And he REFUSED to take it!! I was helping a thai girl going to Hospital... he said it was a good thing to do and he had to help.
The Agency
For the more discerning monger I recommend the Royal Twin Palace. Its central and includes breakfast.Completely girl friendly.Security is good.Plenty of hot water.
Standard room is 900bht I think BUT if you join the club there ( one off payment for life of 350bht) you can stay in the larger Deluxe room which has a great view of Pattaya for 1300bht per night.(1200bht without breakfast). Discount on the standard room too.Give the cleaning girl 20bht a day and you can extra towels etc.. for that more personal room service.
I have stayed at the Marriott seversal times without a problem bringing in 1-2 girls. The front desk sometimes request id's, but most of the time you can just walk right to your room. Since the hotel is very nice the girl sometimes tries to up the price...so stick to your guns on that point.
