christmas cancun tickets, am i screwed?

hello, i bought tickets 1 week before wilma hit, here are my questions if you all have any advice:
1. What effect will this hurricane disaster have on the availability and price of a " lady of the night" in cancun, playa de carmen, and tulum?
2. What about lodging, transportation, busses, motorcycle rental, food, water, electricity, etc?
3. Any other ways that you can think of that i am screwed, or will this disaster lower the prices on these?
Any thoughts or advice is appreciated before i try to get a refund on my tickets. Thanks!

Tourism is the #2 source of income for Mexico, right behind transfer payments from people working in the US and just ahead of petroleum.

They get things back into shape amazingly fast. If your ticket is for the end of December, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

I know I am responding to an old thread post here but I am lucky to go at the cheapest time now here to Cancun in june. I end up missing the high season of july and august... This is cheap time. Got my ticket also only for 350 directly from Chicago. So that was great. The Bad news is That I will probably only be in Cancun for one night then do Merida and maybe Campeche too. Hopfully on my last night I find a cheap mongering place in Cancun. I for one will not pay 70 bucks for a fuck When I could get it much cheaper then that in Merida. Guys Take a good fast luxurious Bus from Cancun there only 4 hours. Keep you guys updated on this for sure,,, Arecho Monger...
