Amps down the chef

Pass down the chef yesterday starting at the Lily Pad going west, Lily Pad building look ok as far as wind damage from the front of course water damage. Looks like no work is being down there but power is in the area. Next one close to SHeShes building from front looks ok but no work being done and water damage.The the one furthest west same as other two except that work is being done to inside of building.I willbet that as soon as power and water is establish in that area they will be ready to open. Next time I might stop to see if they can give an time table. Also visions had all their coolers out front and other debri so it looks like they are in the process of cleaning up. I will post when I see more activities.

A quick update.I forgot to add that Onxy burnt to the ground. I notice that Tokoyo did have some roof damage. I see some clean up going on down chef but no cleanup at the three amps this week. I sure like to see them move faster but it looks like it will take a long time. Hoping for a happy ending soon.

Took a pass today down chef. You can see some buisnesses are cleaning up. Some of the corner grocery stores are open. Not to many local people walking around. Now for your AMP report. The only place that has any work going on right now is the Lily Pad. They had some guys outside cutting the grass. Also notice that the front door open and it appears that clean up is going on on the inside.There is power on the lines out front but the electrical service to the building is disconnected due to when the power pole out front was replaced. If I was not on company time I would had stop just to ask the people working there if they would know when the place was going to open. It will be a good ten days before I have time off and i will stop if anyone is out front.
The other news is that Visions is having a new roof install so they are working to get something started. I hope these places will be the same and not some other buisnesses opening up in their place.when I see the Yes, We Are Open sign I will pass it on AFTER I get to test out the goods. Just joking.

Just happen to had work in the area of the Lily pad. Stopped at the gas station around the corner from there and just casually started talking about the Lily Pad to some of the guys at the gas station. I was told that the place nevered flooded and the woman running the place plans on opening as soon as she gets power. In fact she was waiting for Entergy to hook her up. I hope she has some "pull" with Entergy because they sure do not look like they have any contract crews doing work. Oh well it is getting closer.
