This method is good if you have not made any pre-arrangements
with the hotel.(ie Travel agents or Internet booking)

1) If you are working for an International company, just show
them your name card or access badge. They will check thru
their database to see if your company qualifies for a discount.
Discounts can be up to 50%...
Works for me in hotels like Indo, Malaysia and Thailand.
Not all hotels practice this.. but no harm trying..

2) Get a local to book the hotel for you (Locals in Malaysia and
Indonesia are given discounts).

3) Go to a local travel agency(low profile ones) when u arrive
and book thru them... great bargains.. they sometimes
throw in tours and shows.
