Just a suggestion : How about putting various parts of Asia into different threads.. It's be easier to view

1) Malaysia
2) Singapore
3) Thailand
4) Indonesia/Bali
5) Vietnam
6) Taiwan
7) HongKong
8) Philipines
9) China
10) Japan

etc......

Hi,
I think that is a good idea. I didn't set it up that way originally because there really weren't enough posts. It also is more inconvenient to have to change categories, if you want to read the posts from the other countries as well.

I haven't checked with my programmer yet but what I want to do is:

1) Setup individual categories for the countries and (US) states.
2) Create shortcut links to view all the posts from a particular area. (i.e. "Asian Shortcut": This would be a single link that would display all of the recent posts for all of the Asian countries.)
3) I also want to create a couple more of these shortcuts for "Display posts from the last 24 hours", "Display posts from the last 7 days".

Thoughts?

My 2cents, once you break them up into different countries, people will tend to contribute more... I know I will

How about combining some categories?

1) Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia

2) Vietnam/Cambodia/Thailand

3) China/Taiwan

etc...
