do you have any information about the Okura Garden Hotel or about the area arround Mao Ming Nan Lu

No I haven't, anything is new for me because is my first time in Shanghai.
I only would like to be sure that normally hotels are girl friendly
I also would like to know if is necessary to reserve a double to avoid any problem.

I believe Okura Garden is 5 star, I prefer 3-4 star hotels, as most 5 star hotels do not allow beauty parlours girls to do anything else but strickly beauty, (that includes in your room) and may be some simple neck massage. If you bring any one in from outside, no hotels that I know of will not allow them in especially as your guest. However, the more expensive is the hotel, the more you pay for any service. Usually girls in Shanghai do not dress too fancy or make themselves look hooker. You can always ask a bell boy or the one who serve you drinks at the bar, if he knows any girls. I usually corner one by himself who speaks some English. other times I start at the hotel beauty parlour and ask them to come to the room for massage. I find these girls are cleaner. I usually go for a neck massage and leave a good tip. say 150 rmb for a simple massage and 50 -100 rmb tip and ask them to come upstairs and most of the time I like to tell them to come after work. after work is 2-3 am.-not8us
All hotels 3 stars on have Close Circuit TV on all floors as well as in the elevator the hotel people know who goes where at what time.

MoMing Nan Rd is close to this hotel, a lot of bars and you can pick up a lot of girls, usually 100 US will get you one all night. Take your time to choose and take your time to propose.- not8us
