    Manila Hotels; Need help!!!

Hey guys, I'll be staying in Manila for a week next month. My question is I need help finding a first class hotel that will allow me to bring guests back to my room. I don't want to stay at a hotel that will hassle me everytime a girl wants to visit me or stay the night. I really appreciate any suggestions as soon as possible. The last time I stayed in Manila was at the Manila Midtown that since has close. Thanks for all your help!

I went to PI about 2 years ago. Had a great time. If you are staying smack dab in the middle of the city, I can't help you. But if you are just going to party and are open to oter cities...
Right next to Manilla is Makati. I think its much cleaner than Manila. They have a couple real nice hotels near Glorieta Mall (Shangra la is one, not sure on spelling) for like $100.00 a night.

I stayed in a small hotel named Saint Illian's Inn. www.saintilliansinn.com. See their site for pics and location. I think it was like $50.00 a night. It is small. There are maybe only like 30 rooms, 10 on each floor, with the 4th floor being a place where the hotel workers live. There are 2 sisters (45 years old) who runs the fromt desk and own the place. One of them is always at the desk, I liked Christina the best. They have families and are really nice. When you leave, you give them the key to the room, and have to go to the desk to get it back. This made me a little unconfortable since I brought a different girl back every night. Some hookers, strippers, or just girls I picked up on at a club. They never said one word about the girls. Rooms are small and beds are not big. I shared a room with a friend, and we each had single beds.

It is on a side street off a main road. I think its a laid back atmosphere, and personable which could be bad, but wasn't a problem.

Oh how I wish I could go back to PI.

Hope this helps, as I know its just outside Manila.

    Numerowon,

    I have quite a few hotels options for you top choose from. I travel to PI 4 to 8 times a year and I own a condo in Makati. Here is a list;

Heritage Hotel Located on Roxas blvd. corner of EDSA, Pasay City, Manila. Tel. 632-854-888 and the E-mail address is: guest@heritagehotelmanila.com.
This hotel is close to the nightlife in manila. The accomodations are great. The Superior dbl double has in room safe, 2 phone lines, Cable TV, 24/7 room service, same day laundry and car rental. The rate for this room is P3500. This is a very classy place. The bonus here is that all the asian stewardess stay at this hotel - who knows who or what you will meet in the bar. I have been meeting here a stewardess of China Airlines for the last four years. Always after a flight. I meet her plane in Los Angeles and she always book my flight. We always stay in the Millenium Executive Suite king till she lives on her next flight. The prices are as follow: From the lowly $65 a day to a high $420 a day. The have many types of rooms and prices. EDSA Complex nearby. Guest friendly. Never had a problem there.

Inter-Continental Hotel : This Hotel is located @ 1 Ayala Avenue in Makati City. This is the longest running international Hotel in the Philippines, and it continues to be a favourite among travellers to Metro Manila. Not only for its central location in the country's premier financial district of Makati, but more so for its friendly, efficient and innovative service. It takes almost 30 minutes to reach this hotel from the Airport.
The Hotel facilities - Bar, restaurant, room service, private parking, non-smoking rooms, conference rooms, facilities for disabled, shops at hotel, safe, currency exchange, swimming pool, fitness room, garden, babysitting and pets allowed.

    Superior Room US$85.00
    Deluxe Room is US$95.00
    Executive Room US$105.00
    Business Room US$110.00
    Junior Suite US$130.00
    Club Deluxe Room US120.00
    Club Executive Room US$140.00
    Club Junior Suite US$165.00

Now, Why do I like this Hotel so Much? I tell you why. The Hotel service at the InterContinental in Makati is better than good, it is excellent. They really look after your best interest. I used to stay here a lot before I bought my condo in Makati, which is located in Burgos. And whenever I have a sexual encounter with a girl I came here and stay till noon. One time, I had set up a date with one girl to come over to my room after her working hour. The girl I wanted and another girl came over to the Hotel. The lobby called and asked if they could come up. We had a good time. So, after I paid the 2nd girl who left, the lobby called again to ask if she was allowed to leave. Man, this makes it so easy to prevent getting ripped off or having a runner. That's service! Now, the girls know it too so you know you'll get your money's worth and they won't leave in the middle of the night while you are sleeping. Thumbs up to the Hotel and its staff!!!

Thank you very much for the info. However, I am still a little confused about your comments on the Shangri la Makati. Does this hotel allow guest, ie women, without giving us a hard time and/or room charge when they come back to the hotel with us? I am asking about the one in makati. Thanks.

    Numerowon, I said the following
Guest Friendly. No problems on both.
What I meant by that is that you are not going to have a problem with a guest coming up to your room in either of the two. The Shangrli-la is used to seeing the ex-pats and the rest of the mongers bring their guest to the rooms for an overnight rump.

Warning: Make sure she is walking hand in hand with you when coming into the Hotel. If she looks like she is by herself, one of the Filipino Security guys will try to tell her to go away. Remember, Filipinos look with disdain at the girls for being with a foreigner. When she leaves in the morning make sure you escolt her out of the Hotel. The same idiots will try to take the money she earned away from her. This is not directed to any hotel in specific, It happens from time to time around the hotels in Manila. I had seeing it happened in Manila and in Cebu a lot of times.

Good luck!!! Have Fun!! Shit, I wish I was over there now!!! Not, till next month too. All the best on your trip OK.

BTW, Welcome to the Board !!!! I know that me for one and others in the board would like to hear how your trip went when you come back and to hear if there are some new and Interesting clubs around.

Haven't stayed in Manila in about 10 years, but if you find yourself in Cebu, I like the Acropolis in the countryside and the Sundowner in downtown Cebu. Both have plenty of pickins in the area with downtown Cebu offering much more of course.
    Have fun

    Mandarin Oriental

Mandarin Oriental has no problem with bringing in a girl into the hotel..... just follow leatherneck's advice, accompany her and don't let her follow you behind.

Mandarin is just a stone throw away from P Burgos, makati's red light district. You can see a lot of ladies roaming outside the hotel waiting for customers like you.....

Mandarin Oriental has excellent rooms like Shangrila Makati. check out the chinese food in Tin Hau, one of the best in the Phil.

    enjoy your stay.

    Cool

    numerowon,

Like cinnabon said:The Mandarin is girl friendly.

Let me add that in Makati, it is always better if your lady looks ladylike? But they tolerate sexy, well stacked broads...

Thanks, cinnanbon. Your input is highly appreciated.

    makati hotels

I happen to frequent the makati hotels (shangrila, peninsula, and mandarin) during the day due to meetings and guests.

I see ladies and girls with foreign clientelle even at 12 noon, maybe for a quick 'lunch' or 'snack'. It is easy to tell that these ladies are not there for business.

That's clear that hotels in makati are indeed girl friendly.

Also, it is easy to get girls by just walking around the vicinity at night. I happen to pass by these areas on my way home, and I am mistaken as a foreigner a couple of times. Girls will come at you and ask if you are interested.... just like that. Be careful though of lady-boys....

    welcome to the Philippines!

    Check out these newspapers...
    1. Manila bulletin (esp Sunday)
    2. Buy and Sell (available twice weekly)

By the way, can you take Viagra even if you don't have an erection problem? What's the effect? What is the dosage?

    thanks

Oh yes Cinnabon!!! Wow I couldn't believe it when I tried it, I only have a problem with keeping a strong erection when I'm drinking. A common dose is 50mg about 30 minutes prior. Even when I'm not drinking sometimes I use it talk about feeling like Superman, lol. Give it a try.
