Everett woman, 32, suspected of prostitution
EVERETT--A woman suspected of running an escort service out of her south Everett apartment was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly tried to solicit an undercover Snohomish County sheriff's deputy.
The woman, 32, was arrested on suspicion of prostitution and running an unlicensed massage parlor, sheriff's spokeswoman Jan Jorgenson said Wednesday.
The sheriff's office began its investigation after a dissatisfied customer reported the woman, Jorgensen said. [ It would be so damned helpful to know IN WHAT WAY they were dissatisfied!] Detectives learned she was working out of an apartment in the 12400 block of Admiralty Way.
Officials also found that the woman allegedly had a Web site advertising an escort service, and an advertisement in a Seattle newspaper promoting a massage parlor, Jorgensen said.
The woman was booked into the county jail.
