Funny enough, last night I'm in Soi Welkom speaking to a young Guy from Finland (a youngyoda clone) He's been here a week and completely trusts His Thai girl and of course is taking all His savings (2 million baht) and going to buy a house in Her name, after one week!
He tells me that Finland has the highest suicide rate in the World, not Pattaya.
What He neglected to add was the Fins commiting suicide are the ones who have just spent their life savings in Thailand and been well and truly fleeced.

I Think that all single guys under 30 should be banned from Thailand and even after that be made to take a written exam,oral tests of course would wait until arrival in LOS.
Reading all this along with my experience in Thailand has gotten me to thinking...
I cannot speak for those on the board from other parts of the world, but I CAN say that when a Male from the United States is looking for a permanent girlfriend he does NOT look among the hooker community. He KNOWS that these women are in it for the money. He KNOWS that these Women would NOT make good permanent female companions.
WHY is it that some 55 year old College educated highly intelligent male barfines some 23 year old hostess, takes her home, gives her money, and after about two weeks convinces himself that she LOVES him?
This same guy wouldnt pick up a hooker in New York City and do that. Is it that even at age 55 guys still think with the little head? Or is it that these Thai Women are better actresses?

Pattaya grew up on the back of American GI's who stayed with Thai girlfriends
and im sure many went home with a new wife,exactly the same story in the Philippines.Not an expert but doubt NY hookers provide the same GFE that lures so many in the LOS,reckon there are as many or maybe more from the USA as anywhere else that have had their brains fried in SE Asia.
