    MyTrip to Thailand...

Well, I just got back from Thailand. Spent most of my time in Pattaya visiting a friend recovering from an illness.
This was my first real trip to Thailand. I’ve mongered elsewhere, though. I learned quite a bit from this board, and I would like to give something back. Do not judge me too harshly. After all, we are all here to learn from each other.
I would like to extend my condolences to my friends in the UK over the Subway bombings there. Being a New Yorker I am no stranger to terrorism.
Anyway, arrived in Bangkok on Thai Airways new direct flight from JFK on June 22nd. It cost 1200 dollars US. Not bad for a direct flight. Also, the food is incredible and they give you plenty of it along with free alcohol. After flying several US airlines whose workers could give a rat’s arse about you, it was a pleasure dealing with Thai Airlines; their workers are first rate. Although being an airline worker is probably a great job for most Thais. The flight took 17 hours.
My friend picked me up and drove me to Pattaya and I checked into the brand new LK Pavilion Hotel near South Pattaya Rd. Got a rate of 2200 Baht per night for a very nice two-room apartment. The Hotel was excellent but a bit off the beaten path. Also had water problems when I was there---twice there was NO water. Pattaya seems to be having water problems. Even during this rainy season it hasn’t rained. After taking my friend and his Thai wife to dinner, I went to Living Dolls II where a young dancer named Jane caught my eye. Turns out prices appear to be fixed at this establishment, 1000 short time, and 2000 for LT. Jane wouldn’t budge. I chose LT and took Jane back to my Hotel. When I got there I realized that I had been awake for roughly 30 straight hours (I can’t sleep on Planes). No matter, I got down to business. Afterwards, Jane began a series of sob stories. “I have baby, I need money” She also showed me a receipt for 3500 Baht for Jewelry she had to hock to help her family. She said that if I gave her the money to get her Jewelry out of hock shed “be my constant companion”. At that point I didn’t even want to go LT anymore. Maybe it was the long flight and my exhaustion that got me pissed. But fact is, most of us have jobs. And at our jobs we don’t get more money because we have problems. And I certainly never scammed anyone because of my problems. I gave her 1000 Baht and told her to get lost. She began to curse me. I began to curse back. I told her Id call hotel security, and she slammed my door and left. Have any of you ever gotten hit with this scam?
Next night I traveled back to walking street and entered SuperModels a Go Go bar. Nice establishment. There I chose a young lady named Mel. Nice person, English was limited. Bar fined her back to my Hotel (500 Baht) before even negotiating. This time I took some vitamin V. Thailand is Rush Limbaugh’s dream. You can get most anything over the counter at most Pharmacies, Viagra included, at good prices compared to what we pay here in the USA. . Viagra is also sold as a clone called “Kwanagra” and four pills can be had for 500Baht. We watched some TV while waiting for the Vitamin to take effect. I then asked how much for LT. She said, “Whatever you want to pay me. 1,000-2,000 Baht”. This took me even more aback than the woman last night. I had her stay overnight, and gave her 1500 Baht the next day and Breakfast. I was going to give her 1000, but when she didn’t scam me I decided to give her 1500…In any case, will continue the story tomorrow.

Some of these Girls are so fuckin scheming it's unbelievable. I think my friend had similar troubles in this ago-go bar also. Being drunk and completely stupid He threw about 4000 baht at one and told Her to fuck off.

Sexy Girls but expensive to drink in there and it's not a favourite of mine. I fucked an ex hostess in there three years ago called Jaeb. I met Her in Marine so there was no barfine.

You did the right thing giving 1500 I reckon, you met her half way so no complaints.
But as I have said before, these Girls can turn very nasty and as one of my Pals found out can call on a few Thai "heavies" to sort you out if you give Her too much trouble.

I will be heading there myself in a few weeks. Did you say you can get viagra over the counter at a pharmacy? Just go up and ask for it? Its that simple? I am 30 years old and have never taken the drug before but i definately see some benifits. What does it feel like when you take it? How long does it last? Are there any side effects? Just curious but if i can add some of that to my arsenal my upcoming trip could be quite sweet.

    Viagra & Co

Virtually all medicines can be purchased over the counter in Thailand including Viagra however, much cheaper versions on the same drug(Sidenafil) are also available! Expect to pay 500 Baht for a pack of four 100mg tab's.
If you are using the tab's make sure you have limited your alcohol intake!
The only side affects i encounter are a mild head ache the next day along with blood shot eyes for a few hours, as if i have just been swimming.
A full 100mg tab works on me for about 10 hours. On one occasion i took a bluey about 8am,then following my sexual exploit i took a walk around the Royal Garden Plaza where loads of hot babes were doing the rounds. Within a few minutes of observing these gorgeous creatures my old boy was up for it once more & nothing would make him go limp

Well, Ivivivi, I cant tell you how it affects everyone, but I can tell you how it affected me. I am over fifty years old.
I took half of one pill and and about 40 minutes later I had a woody and a tingling sensation below. I couldnt get rid of the woody, so I wouldnt recommend taking one unless you are ready to have sex. It took me longer to cum under the influence of the pill. Some people complain about having a bad headache after taking Viagara, but I didnt get one.
What crackpott and others say about fake drugs being sold is true--it happens. Someone had once said that you should break a viagara in half and if the inside is white it is probably real---and mine was.

The medicines and pills are first class in Thailand. You can buy anything except illegal drugs of course. It's a bodybuilders Paradise, you can buy Steroids and growth hormone (Genuine) at a fifth of the price in the US or UK.

The Kamagra/Viagra is excellent as is their medical services.

Last year we had IVF treatment at a Bangkok hospital i.e. all the pills injections etc and She got pregnant just with the first stages of treatment.

No, the medicines available in Thailand are top notch, don't be afraid to try any of them.

be sure that the medicine is in original package, and not in "bulk"!!!!
also don't buy them from somebody in the street

Guys, just wanted to put my two cents in on prescription drugs. The only ones that aren't readily available are Schedule 3 drugs (that's a US term). Schedule 3 drugs include Ritalin, Xanex, Vicaden, etc........these types of drugs can't be gotten at drug stores in Thailand without prescription. However, most other drugs can from Viagra to Penicilin.

maybe you should go back to th ebar and talk to the owner? Most dont like this sort of behaviour. Until the girl start to understand .. it will get worse. Tell him about this forum and about your post. ITs not good for his business ,so he will be unhappy with the girl. The Guy is English I believe? I spoke to him once? think his name was kevin?? But seemed a good guy. Part of the "barfine" should be some sort of proffesional agreement to stop the girls from begging for money and pissing us off.

This is the only way to start stoppping this madness.

Racker, sounds like a bad experience. When you started talking to the girl at the bar did she give you the usual list of questions: "How long you here", "how long you stay", "first time in Thailand"???

If you replied, "First time in Thailand and just got here a few hours ago" she would have seen $$$$$ signs written all over you. She sounded like a real bitch so I reckon you did the right thing and paid her off.

Yeah, Tony, I was honest. I was tired, I told the truth, which sometimes is the biggest mistake you can make with a bar girl. I told her I just got here, Id be here for three weeks, and it was my first time in Thailand. As you said this probably had her thinking she could con me. To be honest, I ordinarily wouldve probably just laughed it off, but I gave into her every demand, paid her price, and she still tried to squeeze more out of me. I was tired and irritable so I tossed her out.
Just as an aside, near the end of my trip another girl that I had been with who knew I was about to head home tried the SAME damn con on me! She handed me a "receipt" for her Jewelry and asked me to help her. It was for only 1500 Baht instead of 3500, but I laughed at her and said "Dont YOU try to pull this con on me! Its been tried!" She gave me a sheepish look and put the piece of paper back in her bag.
You learn fast when you get to Thailand.

No doubt about it, the Thai touch is disappearing and rapidly. They are out to get as much as they can, steal, cheat...anything.

Guys...please remember this...I have a friend who looks fucked (I mean fucked) suffers from a form of leprosy and Christ know what else. Your little brown cutie is sucking Him off and swollowing His muck, same time as She's telling you She loves you...Grow up for fuck's sake.
