ALAMEDA - Two women who allegedly posted on the Internet site, Craigslist, that they were willing to perform sex for money, were arrested yesterday as part of a police sting set up inside a hotel room.
A hidden camera filmed xxxx, 18, and xxxxx, 19, soliciting an undercover police officer who was posing as a Japanese tourist, according to investigators.
The women were also audio taped before they were arrested at Studio Plus, a hotel at 1260 South Loop Road.
"We had gotten tips that prostitutes were advertising on the Web site and then using local hotel rooms," police Sgt. Hosh Durani said today.
The women, who showed up at the hotel at different times, allegedly said they were willing to perform sex for between $150 and $200.
xxx lives in Oakland, while Wright lives in Alameda. Each was arrested on suspicion of prostitution.

A police officer negotiated with each woman on the telephone as part of setting up the meetings at the hotel, which is near Oakland International Airport.
Durani said investigators will likely stage similar stings in the future.
