First Visits
Generally involves getting laid at the earliest as soon as you check in.Flip thru the magazine picked up at the concierge desk.Pay a bomb ( you realise that very shortly ).

Getting GFed into tears & the bull story & you want to rescue her from her misery ( pay a bomb again... maybe till you recover your senses ... might range from 2/3 days to 2/3 years )

You don't feel like packing when it is time to go... you have her with you till the Airport... give her all the Bahts you have in your pocket.

Don Muang Airport feels like the most depressed place on earth.

The Middle Curve ( 3/4th visit )

Not as bad as the earlier one but you are settling down to the ways of LOS.The rejections,bad sex, Body Odours,trying to find THE 'Perfect one'.

You perhaps like some one so much that you plan a vist for just both of you & have her all to yourself on an island & therefore take off to Samui .

You are wondering at times that you are probably a misfit among all the other losers of the world around yourself here.You perhaps do not wish to monger again here but maybe a change of scene the next time in some other place.

The upper middle curve( 2years / 7 visits )

You are fine tuning your strategies to get the best out of your visit.

You catch a Taxi straight from the Airport to Mochit Busstation & are out in half hour in aircon comfort for 100 Baht to Pattaya in 2 hours.

1.You trawl the bars at the earliest hours to find the 'diamond'.You see them plying themselves with Thai Whisky as soon as their work starts .They got to keep up the pep ( so that's why they lie like a star fish in some cases & nymphomaniacs in other cases... but for that we got to factor in Yaba & Weed too... right ? ) You fend off the advances of the early girls before someone catches your eye.. you proposition her .. she either has already been barfined/ or is the cashier/ has her chums.So bro TIP If you like a babe in a bar real desperate try not to butterfly.Vist the next day & call her first..& try not to pick up another one from the same bar if she is great ... this way you could perhaps have a roster of 50 of them in Pattaya everytime you are too lazy to trawl the bars to find a new one.

2.The best finds in the Bar scene are in the Sois near beach road & WS because they know their worth.

3.The better ones & more upscale & refined are to be found in the Go Go Bars ... & the same rules apply as earlier.

4.There are still nice little bars with girls with better attitudes away from the hardcore WS/ BR areas... try Soi BoKhao & further down the Sukhumwit Road.

5.You love to be with yourself in the brief periods after you have sent her off in the morning till it is sundown again.

6.You know the true worth of a small motorbike now for which you pay a 100 Baht as compared to your earlier days when you were on 600-800cc.No wonder they were scared to break their faces & bones & at times refused.

7.You appreciate the true beauty now.You appreciate the old falangs settled down there.Now you look forward to going back ,earn more money & try to settle down at the earliest.

Tip : Try 'Shark' available in all 7/11 tastes good & actually helps getting 'it up' w/o the faer of being onsomething artificial.

Tip : Don't get too 'Mao' to fuck !

Tip : Try to have Thai food ... the street side BBQs are great ... just try to go to the ones with permanenet stands & also Tom Yam Kais & Thai Green chicken curries with rice wash down well witha Singha.

Tip : The cost of a 'boom boom' probably works out to double or x4.So it is not a bad idea to get in shape , be cool & have a graet sex life ( for most of the time ) back home... visiting Pattaya or a Ibiza never hurt as welll what say ??
Conclusion ( as of now... would love to have senior members chip in regarding the road & the pitfalls ahead )
Trust me it is paradise ,where the hungry come to feed ,because mine is a generation which circles the globe in search of something we haven't tried before, so never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar.. never fail to be polite & never outstay your welcome !

Just keep your mind open & suck in the experience..& if it hurts.. you know what.. it probably worked.

You hope & you dream that something is never going to happen to you,as in dozens of movies & when it actually does ... you expect it to feel different... more surreal ... I was waiting for it to hit me.

I still beleive in paradise but ,now atleast I know that it is not some place you can look for,because it is not where you go..... it is how you feel for a moment in your life ... & if you can find that moment in your life everyday.. it will last forever...last forever...last forever......

Yes, there has to be a learning curve here, and the learning curve starts the moment you enter the heat and humidity at BKK airport.
If it's your first trip then this is a new World, a World you didn't know existed but secretly hoped that it would somewhere.

All our lives we have been chasing Women in our native Countries with mixed and sometimes no success.

Remember back when I used to go to nightclubs in the Uk and you just wanted to fuck every Girl on the dancefloor, but were hesitant to make the first move out of fear of rejection etc. Well, in Thailand you can fuck nearly every girl on the dancefloor, that's how good it is.

For me it's still an incredible place for all it's faults it is the best place on Earth to live.

Last night I went on my usual trip to look at a few go-go bars I haven't seen for a while. First one I went into and I was the only customer. I found myself sitting in front of the stage with about 12 girls, beautiful girls all smiling at me and dancing very sexy indeed. I thought to myself "Christ, I can fuck any or everyone of them if I want" that's quite a heady powerful sense of magic for my brain to comprehend, I sit back and have to agree with your statement...It is Paradise.

Living here for long periods of time isn't easy at all. Temptation is all around and I find myself wondering what if I didn't have a girlfriend and a baby here, I could do what I wanted with whom I wanted. Then I start feeling sorry for myself...daft cunt that I am.

If I could turn the clock back to that day in the travel agents when me and my ex-Wife booked the holiday to Thailand I probably would...maybe.
I would be in a good paying job with a steady Marriage and be happy in my own little World.
Funny, remembering back...a few days in Pattaya during my first trip and I knew my life would and could never be the same again.

As for the road and pitfalls ahead...well, once you have tasted Paradise it's with you forever and there's no going back from here. Your life and ideas will change and everything you do will be for the purpose of trying to get back here as quickly as possible.

PItfalls...We know what can happen to farang who fall in love with the wrong Girl, their World can be ruined by one little 45 kilo female who tells you She loves you.

I don't know where the learning curve stops here but everyone needs a starting point, try to let your big head rule your small head. Think...before doing anything.

Even people who think they know the score here and mock the chances of them ever "being caught" by a scheming Thai Girl, are the people who look for the one and if you stay here long enough you might find Her.
