I almost made a huge Brazilian mistake

I consider myself an old hand at mongering here in the states. However, I am new to the whole travel abroad for the pay4play scene. I have been to BKK once and had a great time thanks to sites like this and the info from pros like all you guys. For my next trip I was entertaining the idea of Brazil, given its well established reputation for fun with women and my taste in women (round and brown).

BUT, I think that was a huge mistake.

The crowd that seems to flock to Brazil, although closer to me in age and from what I can tell more often American, they are also quite full of themselves. I get a bad vibe from these guys. Some real ego cases and the women may be the same. They seem to take the hobby that I have come to enjoy and make it some kind of EGO FEEDING competition. I did not get that feeling in Thailand.

I prefer the laid back atmosphere that you guys help to create. You know there are a few ego cases among us but for the most part you are bunch of guys that like to enjoy hot Asian women. That is something I can get behind (no pun). It's Thailand for me.

In your experience, outside of LOS are mongers the same world wide?

If you found guys in Brazil that are full of themselves, you will find them in Thailand as well.

Rio is nice, but I prefer Thailand.

Unfortunately more so in Pattaya. But the worst people in my experience in this part of the world have been the oddballs leaving their mark in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Vietinene, Laos comes a close 2nd.
As for hot Asian women and meeting like minded people My best ever experiences have been in Jakarta, Indonesia. Entertainment all round really is a lot cheaper than in Thailand and the available girls are beautiful with a good high standard of English. Rarely do you see those clones of girls in jeans and T shirts and hee hee, boom boom 'UP TO YOU' mentality. Jakarta girls dress to kill and actually do appreciate being taken out to dinner and being able to have a decent conversation before and after sex is for me a big plus. But the bad news is the place is now so fu.k.ng unsafe and who needs that worry of bombs going off in your hotel or in a shopping center. Also just being American, British or Australian is a bit like being an Israli sex tourist in Palistine. Shame really.

I never been to Jakarta and I know now there's lots of danger and unrest.

Back in my Halliburton days when I was posted to Africa to work, my friends went to Jakarta and one of them married a go-go dancer there. Well, 10 years later they are still together and living in Aberdeen of all the cold places.

She is studying to become a teacher and has educated Herself very well.

How do Women from that part of the World compare to Thais?
