I was in Costa Mesa, 688 Baker I think, next to mother of indian restraunt. Walked inside really quick, seemed like a hostess bar or something. Check this place out and post it. It says Bristol on the outside of it. Wehn I went inside, bunch of Korean girls sitting around(waiting i think) for people to walk in. Seemed REALLY odd. Also girls all wearing the same type of black low cut outfit............... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

well, drove by tonight just to find out where it is at about 11pm. outside there was a rather large crowd standing around, going from about 20 to 40years old and 2 or 3 chicks probably in there 20s also, and a beamer stopped right infront of the door. when i drove by everyone stopped talking and just watched me... felt damn creepy... they looked vietnamese, but i could be wrong, tried not to look directly at anyone.... did a u-turn in the tiny parking lot, everyone still watchin me, and then i drove off. i didnt get to see what it looked like inside cause of the small crowd blockin the view along with me tryin to ignore the crowd and act like i was lost... -_- might try again sometime during the day, and park a lil farther away... hehe. cause of the crowd i first thought maybe it was just a normal bar, but when everyone stopped to stare, it kinda gave the impression it wasnt... maybe its just an asian bar and im white, or that everyone seemed to have a nice car, and i certainly dont. either way, definately odd.

ps, would be cool if some of you could check it out too, possibly during the day, im low on cash so i wont be going anytime soon again, but im really curious about it now.

i live near there also, and have eaten lunch in that strip center many of times. that place is japanese, and so are most of the restaurants around it. this is only hearsay, but from what my friends have told me, it's one of those places/bars where you can go get a booth, and then pick out one of the chicks from the bar area to come and sit with you to chat. the chicks are supposed to be dressed up in different outfits, etc. i've peeked in there during lunchtime, and you can see a closet with some funky outfits hanging there.

i really dont' think there's much more than that, but i could be wrong.

what about this A-1 place i read about? is it still there. i found a strip thingy thats called A-1 (its actually where that place mentioned above called Bristol is), but theres no mps. has it been shut down?
