Maybe none of us stay at 1st class Hotels ?
It really is a bit pointless paying big money for a poncey hotel room when all you do is sleep shower and shag in it.

Now if they had some decent campsites, I'd take me tent !

Crackpott, damn right! I´m going end of June. Which hotel´s can you recommend that meets both our interests as you mentioned? Perfect would be a mirror on the ceiling inside the room or around the bed.

There's a really sleazy hotel on Sukhumvit which I stayed in 1990 with a mirror on the ceiling. A long time ago I know but it could well still be there. I'm not totally sure, but I think the hotel was called the Crown.

Slight correction. It's not a JW Marriott, but just a plain 'ol Marriott. The JW's tend to be a higher class of service.

There's also a Sheraton opening up in Pattaya, on the other side of Walking Street, further up on the hill. Should be open for business soon.

Tims beer bar has some mirrors methinks and I know one room has a mini stage with a pole !!

I usually stay at the Dianna Inn (ask for the Pool wing) Loverly breakfast.
Or the Apex seems cheap at 450 baht now.

Cant say I liked the Apex much, though their breakfasts, if you got down early enough were really good.

Apart from the times I was up early to go diving, my breakfasts in Thailand are usually about two, or sometimes later, in the afternoon. For that reason, I never book a hotel, apart from the Nana in Bangkok, which does food.

    tight,
best way to explain Tim's Beer bar is from Soi 13. If you are on the beach side of 2nd Rd and Soi 13, cross the road and head left (north). Walk about 100 ft and it right there. Good place to shoot pool in the afternoons too.

    demetri,
Explain what you mean 1st class. The best hotel (money no option) is supposed to be Marriot and Dusit, though I've never stayed there and probably never will. Hard Rock Hotel has 1st class prices but the rooms are really lacking. I don't think any of these hotels are girl friendly either. There are groups of hotels in the middle range that are more than adequate. for 1500 baht, the rooms at Dynasty are as good as any Holiday Inn and are girl friendly. It's a good location with access to the rest of the main mongering sections of Pattaya. Also, in the same area are other hotels of the same caliber. Sandy Springs, Ma Maison, AA Residence to name a few.

The Marriott is very girl friendly. Every time I've been there, you can spot one or more bg's around the pool. The staff is polite, and there is no guest fee. Depending on time of day and how trashy she looks, security might take her ID for your protection. That doesn't detract from the Marriott's friendliness.

Sheratons in Asia has also been traditionally girl-friendly, even the Sheraton Grande Phuket, which is in resort area pretty far from Patong.

My apologies on the Marriott, as I've said... I never stayed there and was going off of hearsay. Many other hotels take ID's for your protection as well. Dynasty's, Eastiny and Flipperhouse have that policy but don't always abide by it. I've never had a problem with girls that didn't leave an ID, but it's something to consider if taking a freelancer.
